From Melbourne, Australia. Studied Visual Arts at Chisholm in 2007, transfered to Illustration & Design in 2008 graduating in 2009 with my diploma. Since then just drawing and continue learning myself. I just love experimenting and trying new things. Lived in Brasov, Romania for 2 months doing volunteer teaching with Projects Abroad in 2011. Been exhibiting with Artboy's fanart exhibitions since 2011, came third in the Artboy/EbGames video game fanart panel at the Ebgames expo in 2011. Work with Punk Milk Gallery and Punk Milk Studio since the beginning of 2012.

I'm also a freelance web designer. Fluent in HTML, CSS, PHP, Java, Wordpress. I love responsive design, I want to marry it. I find it exciting. I've been experienced with web design for 8 years now.

Don't know where I'm heading yet, I'm still figuring out my style and improving myself.

First of all, hope everyone had a lovely Easter.

Second of all, just going to try and start a weekly journal post. If I don't have much art to post any more, I could at least up date my journal. And I'm taking a break from unpacking boxes that have littered my house, I need to get them unpacked before work tomorrow.

I know I haven't been posting much of anything, but that's not to say I haven't been creative. Quite the opposite actually, working on quite a lot of projects. Got a lot of design work for clients, as this new business my partner and I have started it taking up a lot of my time. I've also started a couple of canvases, for some traditional acrylic paintings. How long they'll get finished I just don't know.

I've also started some writing. I use to love writing stories, and so I've started a couple. I don't know what I plan to do with them, but at the moment I just wanted to write so that's what I've been doing. I've been getting back into reading too which is something relaxing that I use to love. Read some really outstanding books, which I just loved on so many levels. Horns by Joe Hill was just whoah, I can't remember the last time I was so caught up in a novel and just read it so quickly. But then I watched the movie and that was a let down compared to the book. Which is a rare thing for me to say. Sometimes I think movies do better than the book or they're both great individually. But not Horns. The book was so much better.

Followed up was the Stepford Wives by Ira Levin, a classic. Which I loved how it just flows so naturally and mostly through conversation. Made me wonder how many other stories (besides scripts) is narrated primarily through conversation. I am curious now to read more of his style, I'm going to hunt down Rosemary's Baby.

I'm trying to get my way currently through Snowblind by Christopher Golden. It had potential but sad to say too cluttered with characters and a bit disappointing and boring. I've discovered Good Reads.com and I highly recommend it. It's like a social networking but for books. I've discovered quite a few more works by one of my old favourite authors Koji Suzuki and so I'm gonna hunt down the rest of his works next and catch up. Anyone else on Good Reads. Add me www.goodreads.com/user/show/40…

So what's everyone else reading at the moment? Love it or hate it? Anything you're curious about reading?
  • Listening to: The songs in my head
  • Reading: Snowblind - Christopher Golden
  • Watching: the windows
  • Playing: Octodad
  • Drinking: water...mostly
