Presenting Miss Jeanette and Therese.
I started playing Vampire Masquerade again, I'd forgotten how awesome this game was. Which is good because it gave me the inspiration I needed to enter into this years Video Fanart Exhibition at the EBGames expo in Sydney. I came third last year and I saw some of the entries this year after I had finished and submitted this and am kicking myself, it's going to be a really tough contest this year, some of the other work is outstanding. And I have no idea what I'm doing.

I didn't really have any idea what I was doing with this, was just making it up as I went along, so at times it was difficult to work on. In the end it ended up being around 165 layers in photoshop and getting up to 2gb in size. It was really lagging my computer so I had to stop at some point.

I realize now I could have done the concept better, but I might revisit this again in a couple of years.

I'm not really gonna say much about the characters, those who have played the game knows whats going on and those who haven't I don't want to spoil anything. The title and the concept should be enough to give it away (title coming from if you play the game as a Malkavian, and also the Greek God which also had an appearance in Buffy, and a less appeasing Angel comic.)

Done with pencil, watercolour and photoshop.

Excellent work!
The first thing I would like to mention is the concept. You have worked out all the details. I’m not familiar with the subject, but the idea of the picture is perfectly clear to me, I don’t have any questions, I don’t need any additional information to understand what it is about.
The cracks look very natural.
I like the way you combined the colors – the warm and the cold ones. And it’s really great that you painted in different color combinations not only the background but also the girl. You are a good colorist.
I might have said that her breast doesn’t look like a real one, but it would be faultfinding:) Her breast is tolerable. Seriously.

You're the second person to pick at her breasts. I know they're off (as well as her ear) but it's good enough, still learning, and she's a video game character, females are always exaggerated :p. Thanks for your feedback :)

The size is fine. They are just a bit angular. The lines should be smooth if you want them to look like real female breasts.
I thought male artists learn to draw this subject before any other parts of human body:)

I know they're kind of angular. Part of that is the material - especially the blazer. And the other part is just me sucking. I'm still learning drawing figures. Not that long ago I was pretty bad at it

“The glass is shattered yet strangely clear.” This is a very beautiful drawing of the Voerman sisters. I love the way the cracks in the mirror look and how they form around Jeannette and Therese, especially around they’re face. I see the cracked glass as a representation of they’re madness emanating through they’re clan discipline- Dementation. It also perfectly represents they’re eternal conflict, both as sisters, vampires and as Malkavians in the final nights. Amazing work, I love it. Thank for making this and sharing it. It’s much appreciated.

You’re very welcome. You defiantly deserve the praise. This is something I’d love to have hanging on the wall of my home along with other Vampire the Masquerade themed artwork I’ve seen on Deviant-Art, if it were possible and if I had the room on my walls.
